Dear Staff & Volunteers,
After careful consideration, the Founder and I have made the decision to cancel/postpone the 2nd Annual Gala Fundraiser originally planned for November 8th 2025.
This decision was not made lightly but is based on the previous lack of planning, sponsorship commitments, raffle and silent auction donations, and overall volunteer participation. We believe postponing the event will allow us to realign our efforts and ensure greater success moving forward.
We will use this additional time to take a more strategic and intentional approach to intentional planning, sponsorship outreach, and donor engagement. We are confident that this adjustment will position the 2026 Gala, which will be held on November 7th 2026, to be an impactful and well-supported event for Genesis Joy House.
As always, thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work towards a more successful fundraising season ahead.
